I'm a mechanical engineer by day and a maker by night. I love 3D printing, and enjoy designing parts that interest me. I also tinker with electronics, and write/record music. My current interest in 3D printed designs are print in place moving assemblies, but I model whatever I feel like doing at the time! I haven't owned my 3D printers for that long, but I have a BS in mechanical engineering, most of an MS in mechanical engineering, and have been doing design work in the field for over a year.
